Here at ABC to VCE, we offer tutoring programs spanning 15 years of learning. Within the primary school age range, we cover students all the way from Prep to Year 6. Our programs are offered in group class settings, mini groups of up to four students, or individual tutors Altona. Depending on your student’s specific needs we may recommend a particular stream. Focusing on English and Maths, we’ll work with each student to ensure they’re comfortable and confident in their literacy and numeracy skills.

What an amazing establishment and program to have at our fingertips. Miss Jo is one of the most enthusiastic and nurturing educators I have had the pleasure of meeting. My 5 year boy has soared through kinder with real confidence and is set to tackle prep next year. With the support and guidance of Jo, he can confidently read, spell, write his name and key words, count to 100, count by 2s, 5s and 10s and has even started simple addition and subtraction. My 7 year old (grade 1) has a real love of mathematics and has been encouraged to relish in this gift through the support of Jo and his other incredible Educators Amna and Veronica. We moved to Australia around 2.5 years back and as any mum I was apprehensive about my daughter settling in, picking up English (as it is not our first language), communicating and exploring to ultimately become confident and independent. I live nearby the centre. One day, I suddenly dropped in to check out and instantly fell in love with the vibrant, open and welcoming space. As always Jo was so adorable and comforting. My daughter has not only learned her lessons but also has become so confident and active. All thanks to Jo and her continuous efforts to make this centre better everyday even in these tricky times. Our daughter has been at ABC to VCE for about 6 months. Since the end of the first lot of Victorian home schooling. We started with one session with Miss Jo and Our daughter really loved her and her way of teaching. We saw her confidence soar and her work improve. Even her class teacher commented. So when covid school 2.0 was upon us we decided to out her in for a second class. So we now see Miss Shannon as well. We also find her great. Having the 2 different tutors each week I find is great as there are 2 different approaches and our girl never gets bored. Highly recommend Jo and her team and will be putting our youngest daughter into the Begin Brilliantly Program to prepare her for when she starts prep in 2022.

Ms. Nicole is one of the best teachers I’ve had in my life. By doing 1 to 3 tutoring, I’m able to ask questions that I didn’t understand in class. Learning extra knowledge about VCE and helping on my school’s homework and assignments has been of great help. My English has improved dramatically since I came to Australia, and one of the reasons is definitely this tutoring centre. Before I came here, I was averaging a ‘D’ which is around 50%. However, Nicole has helped me on my language structure, vocabulary and all the other literary skills that is need for the VCE program. That’s why I am now averaging a ‘B’ in my school work now and sometimes I have received an A which is 85%. I know my English isn’t that good yet, but I can still improve through this tutoring centre.

Premium 1 to 1 specialist sessions are available in centre and on line and delivered by primary school teachers. These 60 minute sessions cater for students requiring individualised support.

Mini Specialist 1-4

Our most popular mini specialist sessions nurture 2-4 students over 60 minutes. Covering subjects of your choice, these mini specialist sessions are individually planned to suit the needs of your child.

Small Groups 1-8

Our small group sessions nurture up to 8 students with 1 expert primary school teacher. These 60 minute sessions follow the Victorian curriculum in literacy and numeracy.

BOOK YR 4 – 6 EDUCATION EXCELLENCE

Brandon has really enjoyed his learning at ABC to VCE since term 2, 2022. He often came home sharing stories on what he had accomplished during the tutorial. Coupled with the tutor's regular feedback through the online portal, I feel confident that Brandon is progressing in his studies and being challenged to advance his knowledge. Despite joining two groups throughout the year, I find that all of the educators are consistent in providing excellent teaching and the support from the admin team have been amazing too. I cannot recommend ABC to VCE Tutoring enough! The standard of tutoring they offer is exceptional! Jo possesses an amazing passion for teaching as does her staff. Nicole and Danny have been great personality matches with our daughter, and she has come along in leaps and bounds since having tutoring lessons with them both for English and Maths. The encouragement she has received has boosted her confidence and it can clearly be seen in the quality of the work she is now producing and the better understanding she has of various topics.Quoc has been great with our ASD son, finding different ways to reach out and connect with him.
