Secondary school tutoring
Finding focus for teens
Year 7 – 10 in the secondary years includes the important transition from primary school into secondary education and more autonomy in student learning. Students transition from 1 or 2 teachers, to 5 or 6 teachers, change social groups and have the opportunity to study elective subjects. However, it is the all important subjects of English and Maths that must have a strong foundation and understand key concepts in order to meet subject outcomes and create choice in subjects for VCE.
Our combined English and Maths sessions
- weekly 120 minute sessions
- taught by qualified educators
- offer homework support
- Informed by the Victorian Curriculum to ensure concepts are easily transferred into school work
It is essential that students demonstrate mastery in English and Maths to ensure their subject choices for VCE which then follows through to University selection and for this reason we insist that all students attend both sessions.
Our flexible options include personalised or mini group sessions.
